Interview with Nam

I’ve known Nam for some time now. We never spent much time learning languages in our youth but when we found we were both learning Japanese it sparked a long, language based partnership.

AI and what it’s doing to language

I’m aware I’ve possibly gone on a little bit of an emotionally heated rant, but in summary, we’ll all continue to use AI and it’ll likely become even more impressive.

The week after Japan

My passion for Japanese has run strong for around a quarter of my life. I have always loved the Japanese culture and language but rest assured, now I’m obsessed.

The week before Japan

Next week we’ll be flying to Japan for the first time. It feels fitting to use this time to talk about a summation of how we got here, what this means to me and how I’m preparing for our visit.

The constant feeling of not quite being where you need or want to be parallels that of learning language so both hand in hand can be a knock on the senses

Are mobile games better for learning?

you can find that AAA titles have an abundance of content to read through, however you may have noticed up to this point that a lot of the games I’ve played and reviewed are mobile games.

States of play

Playing games can be a mindless task, however, much like books, films and other media, with the right mindset you can do great things.

Language and me

I’m no longer afraid of failure or not amounting to anything I’m just scared of what the future has to hold but in all the right ways.

Is using video games to study effective?

a love of these games can spill out from your consoles and into your day to day life. If you have the passion for it you can find many gaming resources online that add fuel to your progress.
