The benefit to Tokaido’s brevity is that you could genuinely spend an afternoon and learn all of the vocabulary and be able to read along comfortably.

You can easily get addicted to going a little deeper and spending a little longer away from the safe shallows each time. This game is not only fascinating but it is breath taking.
Slime Rancher
I could have very easily overlooked Slime Rancher but thanks to the draw of the adorable slimes and dopey chickens my partner had other ideas.
Nioh 2
The points in time and historical figures are accurate to a point but comes interlaced with mythology and folklore abound… I’ve never bought a game so fast in my life.
